This morning we will stop at the Winery for a chance to purchase some holiday wine and browse the other shops. Our included lunch will be at The Stable Café. After lunch we will tour the estate and mingle among the fabulously rich George Vanderbilt’s holiday memories at Biltmore Estate. He opened the estate in 1895 on Christmas Eve and it was a joyous event filled with music and laughter. Today the estate continues the tradition with a larger-than-life Christmas celebration that includes holiday music, miles of evergreen garland, hundreds of poinsettias and wreaths. Elaborately decorated trees grace almost every room, bedecked with crystal ornaments, holly and ivy, toys and American flags. Even with all this grandeur, you can’t help but be amazed by the home’s beautiful architectural details. We then travel to Pigeon Forge, TN for a two-night stay at the Inn at Christmas Place (www.innatchristmasplace.com). Located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee we’ll find picturesque Bavarian architecture at this four-star hotel. Located directly across from its namesake, The Incredible Christmas Place, it invites us to come “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” and experience Old World charm, elegance and hospitality second to none in the Smoky Mountains. Today we will stay the day at Dollywood, a beautiful landscaped theme park that evokes the homespun fun and traditions of the Smoky Mountains at Christmas time. You’ll enjoy the pretty Christmas decorations and everything from Southern gospel to holiday shows and more. We have time to check out the park with all the holiday lights. An included voucher for lunch can be used in the park. After our day at Dollywood, we will head to the Dolly Parton Stampede to see a fabulous show. BLD

Today we’ll have some time to check out the shops in Gatlinburg and to purchase your lunch and do some shopping. We then head to our next place to stay – Margaritaville Island Hotel. Regretfully, we turn our motor coach home today. A wonderful trip! We will stop at the Tamarack in West Virginia for you to purchase lunch and browse through their great welcome center which includes all types of items made in this state. An early evening arrival home is expected.
