We head to Jamestown, New York to be a part of the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, Presented by the National Comedy Center. We invite you to join us for over 50 live events to keep you laughing while you are in Jamestown – Lucille Ball’s birthplace and the home of the nation’s official cultural institution dedicated to the celebration of comedy and preservation of its heritage. Live events including stand-up showcases, late night comedy, block parties, Lucy tribute events, kids’ comedy, live music and more. The festival boasts over 50 live events and attracts over 15,000 attendees annually from nearly every state in the country, who come together to share laughter while honoring the craft and contributors on stage at dozens of venues throughout Jamestown, including the National Comedy Center and the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum.
Previous festival headliners include Jerry Seinfeld, Trevor Noah, Lily Tomlin, John Mulaney, Amy Schumer, W. Kamau Bell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Jim Gaffigan, Paula Poundstone, Joan Rivers and more than one hundred other comedic artists. The 2022 festival featured comedy greats Jeff Foxworthy, Margaret Cho and SNL Legends: David Spade, Rob Schneider and Kevin Nealon.
The Festival also includes performances in smaller theater settings and late-night showcases featuring up-and-coming comedians. There are also block parties, live music and kid’s comedy shows to enjoy. Special “Lucy Legacy” events occur throughout the week at various locations around Jamestown.
We are planning on touring the Lucy-Desi Museum, the National Comedy Center, see the Lucy & Ethel Show, play Lucy Trivia, have a meal on the Chautauqua Belle Historical Cruise, attend a comedy show, join a block party and more. The venue has not finalized the schedule and the headliners for the festival yet so we will have more detailed information/daily activities, included meals, etc. once we get the info from them. You can watch for that information on our website as it become available.
