JUNE 27-29, 2008
FRIDAY JUNE 27 Departure this morning for Harrisburg, PA. A guided tour of this area will reacquaint you with our state capital. This evening we give you time at the new Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center.
SATURDAY JUNE 28 A 90 minute scenic train ride will give you a view of the surrounding area much as it was in 1863. A light Conductor's Lunch will be enjoyed after the ride. A stop at The Jennie Wade House will give you the tragic history of the only civilian killed during the battle. This evening an option for you will be the Gettysburg Ghost Tour. Join a period dressed guide for an hour of evening entertainment. Great fun for the whole family. CL
SUNDAY JUNE 29 This morning we will have a guided tour of the Battlefield. We will get a closer look at some familiar names, such as, Little Round Top, Pickett's Charge and the Devil's Den. Next we will have lunch at the historic Dobbin House, built in 1774. Today it appears virtually the same as it did over 200 years ago.
