SATURDAY APRIL 26
We start out early this morning to an old favorite, our nation's capitol, Washington D.C. The entire area should be ablaze with spring blooms. We'll stop at Union Station for you to purchase your lunch and look around this bustling, beautifully renovated station with trains still running daily. This afternoon we will have a city tour, stopping at some of the favorites. Our hotel for the evening will be the Hampton Inn in Alexandria, VA. D

SUNDAY APRIL 27
This morning we visit Mount Vernon, the home of George and Martha Washington. Glorious with spring blossoms you will have a fascinating self-guided tour of two floors of the home, grounds, gardens and burial place. There is also a brand new Education Center illuminating chapters of Washington's life. Discover the real George Washington! You also have a lunch at the Mount Vernon Inn before we begin our journey home. CL
